Fulham skipper Danny Murphy says Bryan Ruiz’s recent run in the first-team has shown that the Costa Rican winger has the ability to really shine at Craven Cottage.

The Fulham captain has been impressed by Ruiz’s performances in midfield of late and lauded his terrific finish against Bolton in an interview with Talksport:

It was another brilliant finish from Bryan, showing the kind of ability in front of goal that we’re seeing in training more and more.

Now he’s looking fitter and sharper, he’s really starting to show the fans, and everybody at the club, what quality he has, so I was really pleased for him because it will do his self confidence the world of good.

Ruiz also made the Boxing Day equaliser for Clint Dempsey at Chelsea with an exquisite turn past Ashley Cole and is expected to start again on the right wing against Norwich tomorrow afternoon.
