A few interesting facts and figures ahead of this afternoon’s game at the Circle:

    • It’s largely been level on Humberside when these sides are met. Three of their’ last five meetings were drawn with one win each (Hull’s was last year, while you have to go back to October 1996 for Fulham’s success).
    • The stats suggest Iain Dowie should play Seyi Olofinjana: Hull have won 24% of games in which the Nigerian played, compared to 8% without him.
    • Hull’s home record has been impressive. The Tigers have only lost two of their last eleven at the KC Stadium – and those defeats were by Arsenal and Manchester United
    • City gone 59 league games since winning by more than one goal
    • Defeat today would mean Hull have suffered six straight league losses, which would equal their worst run of last season.
    • Their only victory in the last 16 league games was a 2-1 win over Manchester City in last month.
    • Hull have conceded 19 of their 64 league goals in the last 15 minutes of matches this season – more than any other club.
    • The evergreen Nick Barmby is one away from 100 club goals.
    • If he’s passed fit, Michael Dawson will make his 200th league start for Hull.
    • Fulham haven’t won away in the league for seven months – and fourteen matches – since the opening day defeat of Portsmouth.
    • Worringly, Hodgson’s side haven’t scored a league goal away from Craven Cottage in seven hours and 35 minutes, since Clint Dempsey’s stunning strike at Stoke.
    • The Whites have managed just one first-half goal in their last eleven league outings.
    • Mark Schwarzer will make his 400th league appearance this afternoon.
    • If selected, Paul Konchesky will play his 300th league game.
