Simon Davies has been included in the Wales squad for their friendly with Sweden in Swansea next week.

The Fulham midfielder has been a long-term absentee for John Toshack, having not represented his country since the 2-0 home defeat by Germany that ended a fruitless World Cup qualifying campaign in April last year.

WALES SQUAD (v Sweden, friendly, 3 March):

Defenders: Bale (Tottenham), Collins (Aston Villa), Eardley (Blackpool), Gunter (Nottingham Forest), Morgan (Peterborough), Nyatanga (Bristol City), Ricketts (Bolton), Williams (Swansea).
