The Mirror reports that Fulham are keen to offfer Robert Huth a return to the Premier League.
The paper links us with a £2m move for the Middlesbrough centre back, hinting that he might be a replacement for Brede Hangeland. Relegated Boro would be keen to allow Huth to move on to ease the pressure on their wage bill as they prepare for the start of the Championship season. The Mirror also say that our first choice, Hull’s Michael Turner, was not keen on a move, although the Tigers haven’t confirmed whether we actually had a bid accepted or not.
The Mirror also confirm that Christian Poulsen won’t be joining Fulham, as he would have been prepared a permanent deal rather than a loan. At £6m though, it is thought Roy Hodgson considered the Danish midfielder too expensive.
