Mevlut Erdinc has revealed that there are several English clubs interested in making a move for him in the summer.

The Turkish international, who has scored nine goals for Sochaux in Ligue 1 this season, has a release clause in his contract that would be triggered by an offer of around £7.1m. Roy Hodgson is understood to be considering adding to his striking options for next season, but Fulham are just one of a number of English sides taking a closer look at the striker.

Erdinc, 22, has also been linked with a move to Bordeaux as they look to replace Marouane Chamakh, who is widely tipped to be moving on at the end of the season. English interest is reported to come from Aston Villa, Everton and Wigan Athletic as well as the Cottagers.

There are clubs interested in me. I can’t talk about them. At the end of the season I will sit with the club (Sochaux) and we will see.

The Premier League? It would interest any good player.
