Roy Hodgson says Andy Johnson will have to prove his fitness tomorrow if he is to play any part against Everton on Sunday.

The Fulham manager says Johnson is desperate to feature against his former club in the last game of the season at Craven Cottage but the centre forward has hardly trained since picking up a knock on the knee he injured against Stoke earlier in the week. Hodgson says that he won’t take any risks with Johnson’s fitness.

Bobby Zamora may have to settle for a place on the bench after the encouraging way that Erik Nevland and Diomansy Kamara linked up at Newcastle last week. Giles Barnes is definitely out, though, with his Achilles injury.
