Arsenal are reported to have targeted Fulham’s managing director David McNally to replace Keith Edelman.
The Gunners are drawing up a list of replacements for Edelman following his surprise resignation earlier this month.
Birmingham managing director Karren Brady was strongly linked with the post, but it appears she will now be staying at St Andrews.
McNally is the latest name to be linked with the role at Arsenal as they look to fill the void left by Edelman’s departure quickly.
The Fulham supremo is believed to be highly-regarded within the corridors of Emirates Stadium following his success at Craven Cottage.
McNally played an instrumental role in helping Fulham avoid relegation by luring Roy Hodgson to Craven Cottage and also helping in their pursuit of players in the January transfer window which went proved pivotal in their fight against the drop.
