Daniel Cousin remains confident that the issues surrounding his move to Fulham can be resolved.

The Gabon international striker’s protracted switch to Craven Cottage is still being held up by Fifa legislation, causing consternation amongst all the parties involved.

Fifa rules stipulate that a player must not be allowed to play for more than two clubs in a season, and Cousin has already represented Lens and Rangers during the current campaign.

However, with Rangers keen to sell and Fulham keen to buy, Cousin believes that the situation will be resolved sooner rather than later.

He toldĀ L’Equipe: “I am confident. I am convinced that everything will be sorted out. I have already begun training with the Fulham squad.”
