Lee Chun Soo is set to complete his dream move to the Premier League within weeks after Fulham finalised their offer for the forward, according to reports in his native South Korea.

The Londoners are ready to proceed with the transfer having secured top flight safety with a nervy win over Liverpool on Saturday. Lee’s representatives told the press:

“Last week, we sent our corrected offer suggesting appropriate loan and transfer fees back to Fulham. As Fulham will remain in the Premier League next season, we expect the football club to answer soon.”

The 25 year-old is set to move to Craven Cottage on an initial one-year loan from Ulsan Tigers, with an option to activate a clause triggering a permanent transfer for around £2.9m next January. The protracted deal almost collapsed due to disagreements between the South Korean international and his current employers, but these have now been smoothed off.

Fulham moved quickly to snap up the World Cup star after Wigan’s attempt to bring him to England floundered last January.
