Fulham want to sign 10 players this summer as part of Lawrie Sanchez’s revolution, but it could mean the end of Collins John, Heidar Helguson and Zat Knight.
Although manager Sanchez is targeting players with experience of playing in England, he is understood to be interested in former Juventus star Igor Tudor, who is a free agent after being released by the Italians.
Fulham have also been linked with QPR’s Lee Cook, David Healy, of Leeds, and Aston Villa’s Steven Davis.
Midfielder Papa Bouba Diop, who looked certain to leave the club, is now happy to stay following the departure of Chris Coleman.
But Fulham are ready to listen to offers for John, Helguson and Knight.
Owner Mohamed Al Fayed gave new manager Sanchez a war chest of about £10m.
Al Fayed said: “I have not hesitated in making significant funds available to Lawrie. I want him to build a team that can take us to further heights.”
