Finally, the Premiership is back in full force. Not that I complain about the Swedish performance in the past two games, but I believe many Englishmen would prefer to put the last two games out of their minds.

Tonight we’ll entertain Charlton at home at the Cottage. A Charlton who has had an abysmal start to the season so far and will be looking to turn the season around tonight. The history won’t work in their favour though, since they have never beaten us at Craven Cottage in the premiership. On the other hand Fulham have never won a televised Monday night game either. A draw anyone? The guests’ away form could be better, they have not won in the past 17 away games and lost 13 out of those.Fulham still has a lot of names on the list of injured players, but I think/hope we get to see this team tonight:

Niemi

Rosenior-Knight-Pearce-Que

Volz-Diop-Brown-Wayne

McBride-Helguson

EDIT: After this was written I was informed that Carlos Bocanegra will be fit to play tonight, so might want to move Wayne over to right and add Carlos to left midfield.

COYSW

The game is televised on SKY Sports and Canal+ in Sweden. This might have an impact on tonights attendance. The “offal” informa us that tonight it is “pay on the gate” which implies a poor interest.
