Fulham central defender Zat Knight has received his second International call up following his debut on England’s summer tour of the USA.

England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson announced the call up today when he said “John Terry will be sent home. He is not ready and will be out for four weeks with a knee injury.

“We knew about it yesterday. Zat Knight is coming here tonight. He did well in America and we have been looking at him.”

On Saturday England play a World Cup qualifier with Wales in Cardiff. At the moment it is presumed that Jamie Carragher or Matthew Upson will partner Rio Ferdinand in the centre of defence.
