Fulham midfielder Steed Malbranque has insisted he is ready to give his all to keep Fulham in the Premiership.

The Cottagers find themselves just six points clear of the bottom three.

Injuries have hampered the French winger’s progress this term, but he is looking to finish the season back at his best.

Malbranque’s commitment has been questioned, but the 25-year-old, who is under contract till 2007, is happy in the capital.

“My objective is to finish the season as well as possible,” explained Malbranque.

“I’m committed to the cause. I feel great in London and I’d love to stay in England.

“It’s been a strange season for me, I missed pre-season with a groin injury and then had a bad tackle in the West Brom game. It’s been difficult to put a run of matches together.

“I’ve haven’t been as effective as last year, but I think that’s mainly down to injuries.”
