Fulham goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has been named in Holland’s Euro 2004 squad.
van der Sar, who was voted Fulham’s player of the season after another year of outstanding displays with the Whites, will join up with his team-mates next week as they begin their preparations for the tournament in Portugal. The Dutch have scheduled three friendlies ahead of Euro 2004 – with games lined up against Belgium, Faeroe Islands and the Republic of Ireland.
