Fulham will kick off the new campaign with a mouthwatering home game against relegated Newcastle United on Friday 5th August.

The Championship fixtures were released this morning and Slavisa Jokanovic’s side will start the new season with a visit from the Magpies, who will begin the new term as one of the favourites for promotion back to the top flight under Rafa Benitez. That game, which will be televised by Sky Sports, is followed by visits to Preston North End and Leeds United before Fulham conclude August with a home fixture against Blackburn Rovers.

The local derbies against Queens Park Rangers are scheduled for October 1st – at Craven Cottage – and January 21st. Fulham will travel to Griffin Park to play local rivals Brentford on November 5th, whilst the home tie will take place in the penultimate week of the season on April 29th. The Whites have been handed a Boxing Day trip to Ipswich Town and will finish the season at Sheffield Wednesday on the final day.
