Slavisa Jokanovic’s reshaping of Fulham’s defence has gathered pace after Bursaspor confirmed that the Championship side have made an offer for their captain Serdar Aziz.

The Turkish club’s chairman confirmed that his side had received an offer for the 25 year-old centre half, who has won ten caps for his country but was left out of the squad for this summer’s European Championship. A report from the Turkish website Fanatik said that Bursaspor had received an offer from divisional rivals Besiktas, but would be willing to facilitate Aziz’s desire to move to England.

The 6ft defender has been with his hometown club since the age of 10 and has made more than 130 league appearances, helping Bursa win the Turkish title back in 2010. He was initially a midfielder, but has been one of the most composed centre backs in Turkish football since being moved into the heart of the back four. Aziz has previously been linked with a move to Inter Milan and is currently under contract with the Turkish side until June 2018. He made 21 league appearances last season as Bursaspor finished eleventh.
