Fulham have brought back Chris Baird on loan from Derby County for the remainder of the season.
The Northern Ireland international made 165 appearances in a six-year stint at Craven Cottage, being part of the side that recorded a club record high seventh-placed Premier League finish and reached the final of the Europa League n 2010. After being released by Martin Jol in 2013, Baird has enjoyed spells with Reading, Burnley West Bromwich Albion and most recently Derby, for whom he returned to Craven Cottage during a 1-1 draw a couple of weeks ago.
The versatile 33 year-old, comfortable either in defence or midfield, said:
I’m looking forward to playing in front of the fans again. They were fantastic to me over the six years that I was here previously.
