This coming Tuesday, a delegation from the Fulham Supporters Trust is meeting with Fulham Football Club at Motspur Park, the team’s training ground. The purpose of the meeting is to foster the links between the club and the supporters, as represented by the supporters trust, and to highlight any issues fans have that are connected to this great club of ours.
The meeting is a serious opportunity to have issues that matter to you raised with the club at a senior level, with the club’s Chief Executive Officer and Communications Director both expected to be in attendance.
The Fulham Supporters Trust would like to canvass fans, through mediums such as Hammyend.com, so that all issues, no matter how big or small, can be brought forward for discussion with the club.
We have seen, through the trust’s original work with the Back to the Cottage campaign and, more recently, by publicly and privately supporting the planning application for the proposed Riverside Stand redevelopment, that a constructive relationship between a club and its fans is highly beneficial to both sides. You only have to look at the debacle up at Everton with their redesigned crest to appreciate the value of this relationship.
Aside from on-pitch affairs, to which every fan is want to have an opinion, what matters to you, the Fulham fan?
Would you like more clarity on the Riverside Stand start date? Would you like Fulham to explain the club’s stance on football governance issues such as Financial Fair Play or Safe Standing? How about a cheaper matchday programme or a different selection of pies?
Please let the Fulham Supporters Trust know what you would like to change at Fulham, or indeed what you wouldn’t like to change and what the club does well.

I’m generally happy with the way things are run at the club. Although I have a few concerns. Namely, that if we continue to under invest in our squad ( make-do and mend) the new stand the club is intending to build will become a ” White Elephant”, on the basis that if we were to be relegated our gates would dwindle to @ 12-13000..
Also why do we allow Tottenham to cherry pick our best players? ( I note they’re currently linked with Kaca) Let’s take a leaf out of their book and get all of our “Young and Valuable” players tied up on long contracts so we don’t have a similar scenario to what happened with Dempsey and Dembele. Ie Kaka’s only got a couple of years left and if he plays a blinder this year for ourselves, we’ll have to let him go for peanuts given the fact he’ll only have a year left on his contract..Shrewd clubs like Totenham NEVER allow their players to leave on the cheap.. 85 Million to buy Bale?

I am concerned / confused by the Club’s official pr and communications during the last season…
I find it extremely strange that the club chose not to officially announce the extension to Martin Jol’s contract when it was officially agreed before Christmas. This added much confusion and uncertainty to his future in the months that follow…especially towards the end of the season. Surely this would have been solved by making a simple announcement? Since the Manager of the club in the most important person, other than the Chairman and CEO, then I (along with other fellow fans), found this a worrying choice by the club.

I agree with Gareth, we need to be put our food youth prospects on longer deals, so they will not be snatched away. I have no issues regarding transfers, as we seem to have learnt from last years mistakes and are buying well early on. Finally, I of course would love to find out about our mysterious new stand- when will it be built and about how long will it take to build?
I’d like some answers to the following or to know that the club are aware of the problem and have plans in place for:
1) Signing our talented youth players on longer term contracts.
2) A classy, Fulhamish way to tell Tottenham to piss off when it comes to trying to raid our club of talent.
3) Why there seems to be no avenue/plan for the youth to play in the first team, especially if safety is guaranteed or in early round cup games etc. I’m not saying go to the extremes that Villa did, they almost imploded, but some sort of feed of youth into the first team would be great.
4) Would there ever be scope for implementing a more German or Dutch method of ownership and youth production/integration at the club.
5) Could someone explain to the players/staff domestic cup games do matter and to be taken more seriously.
6) What is the club’s view on our away form and can someone please do something about it.
I’d like to reiterate Fulham1’s comments about cup games. It would be nothing short of a miracle to end up in a Champions League spot, but there’s nothing to realistically stop us from pushing for either League or FA Cup silverware. You only have to look at the joy of the Europa Cup run to see how wonderful it would be for the club to win something.
We should also play more youth when the opportunity presents itself. We have some cracking kids who deserve a chance.
Finally, ANYTHING to improve acoustics in the stadium!
Sorry to be banal and unfootbally, but please can they do something about the lack of ladies toilets in the Riverside stand. Every season sees a growing number of female fans, and our queues get longer and the plumbing works less well!!
This should hopefully be addressed in the new riverside stand.
Would the club considering having a few pre-season friendlies in the States?
I don’t pretend to understand the costs involved vs return at gates, etc., but it might be a good way to build the club’s following.
The club need to look at the speed of its communications to the fans. Its goes on about how you will here it hear first (on the offical site or twitter) but in reality it never happens.
Update on the stand situation to include timescales.
Whats the plan with the playing side and bringing the youth through.
Can we get rid of the stupid no lid on a bottle farce, but I can bring flare’s in.
Can we have more youth & u21 games covered live on the site. Other clubs seem to be able to put a camera up and someone to chat for 90 minutes. I’ll bring a camcorder down if its an issue.
The staff in the food kiosks are on min pay but I still dont understand how you can have about 10 people behind the counter and it takes 3 of them to serve me one drink of tea.
We all know the cottage can be an electrifying place to watch football but please can we generate even more atmosphere in the Hammersmith End.
It would be amazing to produce matchday tifo’s celebrating our love for Fulham.
What about a banner proclaiming ‘FFC, London’s Originals’ the full length of the stand. I’m sure it would inspire the players and if not inspire then remind them there are plenty of Fulham faithful who gladly take their place.
Communication to supporters obviously needs improving.
What is the purpose of such an awesome academy, wining premier league titles year on year if none of this talent ever breaks through?
I’m sure the fans would rather see youngsters coming through rather than big money, joe hollywood signings, looking for a casual kickabout by the river.
