The agent of Belgian international Igor De Camargo has today confirmed that English duo Everton and Fulham are battling for his signature after forty-eight hours of intense speculation. The Brazilian-born striker has been out of favour at Borussia Monchengladbach this season, and with his club seemingly keen to get rid of him would be available at a bargain price.

His agent told Sky Sports:

“Nothing is decided. We have talked with Everton and also with Fulham, and we will talk again – but we do not know what will happen, there are other clubs too. We have talked with teams in Germany also, and hopefully we will know more soon.”

The 29 year old has struggled with injuries recently but is a powerful, aggressive forward which Jol clearly feels can add to the squad.
