Jol eyes ‘regular’ spot for Frei

by Dan on December 29, 2011

Martin Jol has suggested that Kerim Frei can become a first team regular for Fulham after his emergence this season.

The Swiss winger followed up a series of impressive performances in the Europa League with a brilliant full debut at Chelsea in the Carling Cup and enjoyed an encouraging league bow at Stamford Bridge in the 1-1 draw on Boxing Day. The Fulham manager now hopes the talented 18 year-old can become a key part of his side for the rest of the season.

Frei played in the Carling Cup [against Chelsea] and was one of the best on the pitch. He played 120 minutes and that was in my mind, so I thought maybe he can do it again. Hopefully he can become a regular for us now.
