Just a nod to another fantastic post from Rich over at CCN, where he dissects Clint Dempsey’s movement for the goal.
At first look, it might have appeared that his record-breaking 37th Premier League goal was merely a tap-in. Not so. Clint’s reactions in the box – as well as his anticipation – are first class. He’s worked so hard on that aspect of his game since coming to England and probably scores more from inside the six-yard box than anywhere else these days.
