Fulham have an approach to take Manchester United forward Mame Biram Diouf on loan turned down.

The Senegalese striker spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, scoring six times in 30 appearances at Ewood Park. Martin Jol was apparently keen to take the 23 year-old on loan, but was told that he would only be available for a permanent transfer at £6m. The Fulham manager has turned his attentions elsewhere and interest from Everton and Blackburn has been cooled by Sir Alex Ferguson’s valuation.
