Fulham have rejected an offer from Swansea to take goalkeeper David Stockdale on a season-long loan.
According to quotes in this morning’s Sun, Martin Jol has challenged the 25 year-old to prove he is ready to displace Mark Schwarzer as Fulham’s first choice goalkeeper. Jol had previously appeared to be ready to loan Stockdale out, but these comments appear to indicate otherwise:
Schwarzer and Stockdale are both part of my plans for the new season. There’s no way Stockdale will go to any other club.
