No, not Kevin or Curtis… Our very own Simon “Digger” Davies has signed a new contract to keep him at the Cottage until 2013. He seems quite happy about it;
It’s great now that it’s finally done. We’ve been talking for a few months. I’ve loved my time here and it’s been great the last few years. I’m just excited for the future and hopefully I’ll finish my career here.
Dan reported last week that Davies had announced his retirement from international football, saying that he’d rather concentrate on playing for his club. Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing a few more like this;
