That being said, at the time he signed with Rangers, I said it was a mistake and got blasted by many U.S. supporters. He's a player now who lacks confidence. Signing with Fulham and playing reserve matches will not regain that confidence. Bottom line is, he will not factor in the World Cup squad in 2010. However, he's still young enough that he can target 2014 (he would be 32). Go back to MLS and get some playing time. I don't want to see him take to the pitch at Craven Cottage...BUT...I'd welcome him with open arms at the OTHER club I support, the Chicago Fire. I love Demarcus.
