I was told by someone on the way home that McCann's dive was blatant - he didn't help his cause by committing several niggling (and a couple of nasty) fouls earlier. On the Gera one, I'm right up the back of the Hammersmith End so I may have got that one wrong. I was pleased with the point because, as you say, it looked as though we wouldn't get anything at one stage, which would have sent us into the Sofia game in really poor heart. Was a good result given that we were missing a playmaker and three strikers. I certainly thought Bolton came back into the it after our goal – the game opened up very dramatically.

They were very cynical today in their attempts to stop Fulham playing - and you have to pity the fans who have to watch them week in, week out. On Andy's points above, I thought McCann threw himself to ground very easily but will have to wait for TV to confirm. I actually thought Gera's overhead was going in but I'm quite high up in the Hammersmith End so the angle might have confused me. It amazing what different people can see from the same event. For example I thought Greening really did catch McCann and I thought Gera's overhead kick attempt completely missed the ball. I also thought that Bolton came back into it after the equaliser, but a winner from either side looked unlikely. It certainly did feel like one of those days where nothing would go Fulham's way.
