I’ll play up front, says Clint

by Dan on November 27, 2009

Further to the earlier discussion of whether Clint should stay up front tomorrow, he certainly seems in confident mood after those two goals against Blackburn on Wednesday.

It’s great that we have people showing they are good enough to be out there. I’m getting more confident. I now know what kind of runs and link-up play I need to make.

I think Gideon Brooks is a little harsh in his description of the pre-Roy Dempsey as a ‘hapless part-timer’. How many of those score in World Cup finals? Let’s hope Clint can keep his fine scoring run going against Bolton at the Cottage tomorrow.
