Zamora a doubt for Saturday

by Dan on November 26, 2009

Love him or loathe him, Bobby Zamora offers something different. But it seems Fulham might have to do without him against Bolton on Saturday after he picked a groin strain in a challenge with Christopher Samba last night.

Roy Hodgson hopes that a return to fitness for Andy Johnson might compensate for the probable loss or Zamora or he’ll turn to the Nevland-Dempsey combination that produced two second half goals against Blackburn.

We’ve got two days to patch him up and you never know. It’s a stiffness in his groin. We will try to work on it, but I’m not terribly optimistic at the moment.

You never know, we might have Andy Johnson, we’ll see how it goes for him over the next two days in training. We’ve got Erik and Clint Dempsey showed in the second half that we can count on him as well.
